Anti-rust bags are widely used in the anti-rust protection of motor rotors and stators, auto parts, flange parts, electronic components, and large mechanical equipment. What are the precautions for packaging anti-rust bags during use?

  • 1.The operator must wear gloves and masks during work; hands must not directly contact the surface of the parts to avoid metal corrosion caused by organic pollution such as hand sweat.
  • 2.The cleaning and anti-rust packaging procedures should be coordinated and matched to ensure that the oil and water content is as clear as possible. If a thin layer of anti-rust oil diluted with gasoline is used for sealing, the gasoline should be volatilized before packaging, otherwise the anti-rust period will be shortened.
  • 3.For parts packed in gas-phase anti-rust bags, the temperature of the surface of the workpiece is 20 ~ 35 ℃, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 40 ℃, so as to avoid the loss of corrosion and evaporation of the corrosion inhibitor or the moisture absorption of the inorganic passivation layer on the surface of the workpiece, which affects the anti-rust packaging effect.
  • 4.When the gas-phase anti-rust bag is not used, it should be sealed and stored in a cool, dark and dry environment to avoid volatilization or moisture absorption of the gas phase corrosion inhibitor.

  • 5.The cleaning materials in the box must be clean and dry, and the anti-rust paper in the box must be a whole sheet to avoid direct contact between the metal and the wooden box. It must be tightly sealed to maintain its anti-rust effect.
