There are as many as two to three hundred compounds with gas-phase corrosion inhibition that have been discovered. These compounds are mainly amine salts of inorganic acids, amine salts of organic acids, esters, nitro compounds, base amine salts, and heterocyclic compounds, etc.
When using, it is necessary to correctly select suitable vapor phase corrosion inhibitors according to different protected metals.
Generally, it can be divided into the following types:
1) gas phase corrosion inhibitor for steel. The common characteristic of gas phase corrosion inhibitor of steel is that the cation of inorganic ammonia or organic amine plays an antirust role.
2) non-ferrous metal vapor phase corrosion inhibitor. Chromate of organic amine, phosphate of organic amine, organic acid ester, organic phenol and its derivatives, heterocycle compounds, etc. should be selected according to different metal types.
3) mixed gas phase corrosion inhibitor. A mixed Gas-phase corrosion inhibitor is also a kind of anti-rust material of steel. It is mixed with various compounds. After corrosion and volatilization, it reacts with water and oxygen in the air and generates ammonia, the purpose of rust prevention of steel is achieved through ammonia.
